Yeah, got that thing rego'd & smashed it yet?? Keep the polish up to it, the rubber cleans off the rear guards heaps easier......
(PRAYER) Oh thank you Wild Turkey American Honey & Cola in those small thin bottles, for giving me the strength to act like a half wit, and say stupid things at inappropriate times, semi-anonymously, on a public forum.
Amen.
As I would expect him to announce his triumph if or when it happens, I think we all under estimate how long something will take to complete or do. From what I could see he need to rebuild the interior, get parts debugged, door windows, engine piping and air filter, suspension alignment, complete the console, rewire what ever causes issues, change what ever the engineer decided to pick on. Get a life back. I would think middle of the year.
No havent crashed it yet. Since last update. Ive had wheel alignment done and been happily driving it with my mates trade plates for registration purposes of course. Engineer is happy just wants to test brakes on the road. Havent had a chance to organise this but luckily cause my cobra master cylinder and some of the fittings were leaking fluid. I ended up having to redo and reroute most of them to more logical spots at the rear and twards the front effectively redoing everything myself again.
as my mc is under warranty baer were going to supply me with one of their new remasters but is still been delayed which is why I havent made any progression. Waiting on others. Otherwise id be registered now.
Made quite a few changes also to previously.. Enjoyed working on it after work till midnight when I can around other projects and whenever my dad could help. Got a random message from my dad saying how proud he was of me with what ive done and doing. Which was humbling cause we clash alot mainly my issue not his.
Recently installed my million watts stereo and my custom console custome kickpanels and trap door and ive found the tablet I want to intergrate and run megasquirt and my media centre. So ill get that soon when I get a chance.
Other than that just tinkering in between other stuff. I know the engineer is busy these weeks but ill book the brake test for a few weeks time and not raining hopefully. Last time was cancelled due to raining.
A few things ive learnt.
1. Tap and dye set .. saviour
2. My cordless drill i bought 7years ago worth every penny
3. Some of my dads aircraft speciality tools saved my life
4. Competition coatings are awesome
5. Ive decided no side stripes looks awesomely custom from the side.
6. The workshop manual and youtube for tutorials invaluable
7. Harrys classics - harry and elena are awesome.
8. I still love my wheels and for the moment decided to leave the spinners off.
9. Covercraft make awesome car covers and one specifically for eleanor shaped mustangs
Haha I could go on.

heres some pics from new years when i smashed project "put together" and some recent when installing my megawatt stereo
i dont have pics of the custom kickpanels. basically its just 9mm mdf routed for pinch weld, carpetted to house my speaker. abs ones simply dont cut it for decent sound especially when you are trying to compete with exhaust but it does pretty damm well
cover
console ver 1 .. this was when it was incomplete. I now have my head unit with the gauges and my tablet in the normal radio opening. the shifter cover is just sitting there so its not fixed in place which is why it looks wonky
carpet when i first laid it.. ACC carpet highly recommended. this has the mass backing and the essex plush variety.. fricken fantastic and fitted well. THe only places had issues which would be regardless of any carpet is where my handbrake cable enters the floor and my shifter cable but they are non issues and just show a little hump which isnt even noticeable.
part of my 1 million watts stereo lol

I have never been a fan of moulded carpet, but I have to say that looks pretty good. Looks like we both might be done around the same time. I am looking forward to that cruise.
