Thanks Kerry for your post.
Thoroughly enjoyed Boof's contribution to this site since its inception. Never met him, but felt like I knew him.
Godspeed.

Re: Project Brandy
Hi Marty, I have a 4R70W. Pretty easy to install, electronics are straightforward. I used broader performance trans and bauman controls. Very happy with my setup but am also sure that I would be happy with a GV solution. The thing that swung it for me was rebuilding my C4 and then going GV would hav...

Re: Hoists Round 2
Hi Steve,
I don't mind whether floor or overhead wiring. I am looking for something where I can store my 'stang on the hoist and park a car below at home. About to build a new garage and want to consider if incorporating a hoist is viable.
Thanks.

Re: Hoists Round 2
Hi Steve,
Can you confirm minimum clear height required to install one of these? From previous posts, I thought it was around 3.3m?
Thanks.

Re: Auto to Manual Conversion
Thanks Kerry, Car is still left hook, agree with your comments re 5 speed and haven't precluded it. I know that people have had great service from http://www.moderndriveline.com/ and recommend them. I am still planning on how the car will be configured in the future and it may mean that I go initial...

Auto to Manual Conversion
I'm considering change my 66 vert from auto to a 4 speed toploader. Is there anyone you'd recommend that sells a complete conversion kit, with or without trans, including bell-housing, flywheel, clutch, nuts bolts etc or is it cheaper just to buy all the parts separately from varying sources? Scott
