Re: Anyone using a Lunati cam?

Hi Mate, do not know if this is relevant but i am using one of the Lunati vodoo grinds in my stang. (Part Number: 10350701). For my mild budget build if seems fine. Good torque and broad range of power. I choose this over a equivalent Comp Cam grind due to the softer closing of the valves. Comp XE g...

I will try the 59's and adjust from there with spacers or grinder ;)

Hi DD289, the tyre is rubbing the centre of the fender opening.

Re: Help with front springs

I should have described it better... I mean to say, isn't the 4" backspace smaller than usual, thus bringing the outside of a 7" rim when mounted to a 65 out closer to the extremely of the fender? If it happens that it's rubbing on the leading edge of the guard a lot of guys have to massa...

Hi , How are you ? i am still loving the VT's

7 inch rim with 4 inch backspace. i know the backspacing would help - but i am also sick of just rubbing my Headers on speed humps when driving around. Hooker long tubes Headers.

Help with front springs

Hello fellow mustangers! My 65 fastback front sits too low. The drivers side fender rubs the tyre when turning. On measuring the heights there was a 6mm difference between the passenger to drivers side. With the drivers side being the lower. i used a 8mm spacer to equalise the sides. Now when measure...

You need the shorter shoe to the front.
Thanks one of the first things I verified- by the way the issue has been fixed once I replaced the shoes.

Re: Rob's Fastback

I think you'd be around 260-270HP in that case. The Toploader is apparently a bit of a HP hog. Bear in mind that if you put it on a different dyno, you'd probably get different figures too. thanks :like: I know you can play with the ambient temps to skew the results-Maybe i need to run down the qua...

Re: Rob's Fastback

To all the more knowledgeable of engine guru's-
what would a guesstimate of engine horsepower for my engine-
165KW= 225Hp at the rear wheels.
I know people quote percentage losses but i would rather real world experience etc....

cheers

Re: Rob's Fastback

Sounds good, did you need to change the jets much. The carby was second hand- it had been played with. It started with primary 60 jet and secondary 70. It ended up with Primary 63 and secondary 60. AFR are now nice a stable throughout the dyno run. Interestingly the dyno pull before the secondary j...
