Re: Canberra Centenary Mustang Show 2013
muzz67's coupe a few years back, probably was the most popular car at the show ...... <picture snipped> I wouldn't doubt it, that is a nice looking build going on there from what I see in the picture. I have taken "barn finds" to shows in the US, as they were found. You could not get near...

Re: Canberra Centenary Mustang Show 2013
OzStang390, bring it out anyway! have seen one car at a previous show with no dash - just lots of wires hanging out. Was a work in progress and good to see them in different stages of restoration. Yeah, I am hoping to bring it out anyway :-) I was just stirring by trying to make up a category I'd h...

Re: Engine block code puzzle
A few telltales: what is the date code? What's the date code - that should be visible between the oil filter adapter and the oil pan. I would bet on it being a C6ME-A and if it had triple mains webbing then you'd be pretty happy (rare and $$) but looks like it's got standard mains webbing from befo...

Re: Engine block code puzzle
So what are you trying to achieve by decipering the casting number? C6ME-A tells you... it's a mid 60's to mid 70's FE or FT block, that's all... I was just curious... and the fact I want to learn all I can about my Mustang, that is all, nothing more, nothing less. After reading the information on ...

Re: Engine block code puzzle
A few telltales: what is the date code? what other cast/scratch marks are on the block? did you measure clearance between cylinders? Thanks to all for your input, this FE block is suppose to be the original engine in my S code '67 Coupe, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to do any measuring or ch...

Re: Engine block code puzzle
Post more info, until then no way to tell. Sorry but I don't really have much more info, the only thing I have are a few more pictures of the engine when it was being rebuilt in the US: http://i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae116/OzStang390/The%20Muzzy/100_2802.jpg~original http://i963.photobucket.com...
