Thanks for the Advice, all done, no probs at all, bolted straight in, even the yoke was the same... Did it at a mates workshop as he has a hoist.. he said to take it for a test drive so I promptly layed a burnout in his driveway leaving two long skidmarks. He proceeded to give me the two thumbs up a...

Any suggestions on the type of gear oil? they suggested non synthetic 90w, 80/90w or 90/140w Gear oil.

I'll be celebrating with some 11's infront of my neighbours house... That'll teach her for complaining about my A/C noise..
Should make a big difference from the 2.80 gearing!

The guy said it was set up and ready to bolt straight in.... but yeah i get that while its apart, other things should be checked out. The last time it was touched was about 4 years ago when the current centre was re-built and axle bearings etc..changed.

Hi all, been a while since ive been on as I've been flat out at work.... Just got a new (remanufactured ) 8" diff centre from the US and was going to swap it out with my existing one. It came with the complete carrier so is it a simple task of removing the axles, swapping the carrier and puttin...

Thanks Rick, it's a new floor ( not in yet! ) so I'll give it a few weeks to cure once down then hit it with a mild acid solution to etch the surface to give good adhesion.

Caught up with they guy I know at Sika, he recomended the Duraseal (as you used Rick) he recons its easy to apply and tough as hell. Comes in clear, light grey and dark grey....reckons once down, youll never have to reseal for years. Looks like the way to go.

GARAGE FLOOR

Need some feedback here on the best surface for a garage floor. I'm towards the end of a sizable renovation and addition to my home and part of that is a garage for my muzzy. At the moment i'm looking at a smooth concrete finish and then sealing it for durability with bondcrete or a similar product....
