Re: 65 power steering pump pulley and mounting bracket

i agree with kerry. i had a PS pulley swap done last year, realized its not that easy and the pulley position has to be spot on for proper belt alignment. on advice i took it to a steering specialist and he asked me for the offset dimension which luckily i had measured beforehand. job done and perfe...

Re: MAN & MACHINE TV

i agree mild67 1 hr long would be good though that puts a lot of pressure of production team to fill that 1hr evry week. XB GT for me, the angled front end looks angrier than XA engine rebuild workshop was good though you gotta realise that its an advertorial by one of the shows sponsors and as they...

Re: Installed my Seat Track Extenders Today , So wrapped !

nice work mr bravo. about a year ago i made up my track extenders after seeing the ford TSB about how to make and install them. good solution for those of us that arent height challenged. however with the seat back further and having a shelby wheel like yours i had to straighten my reach further to ...

Re: Electric dizzy

yep, the module doesnt like a lower voltage which i gather is attributable to generated voltage on idle. mine would stall unless i kept on the throttle over 1200rpm or thereabouts. i have kept the pink wire feed to the coil as i have an original rally pac (not repro) in which apparently a 12v feed w...

Re: Electric dizzy

i had the same prob, stall at idle with pertronix.
run a separate 12v feed from ign switch or other keyed 12v (active when ign switch is in 'on' position) source, i simply tapped off the back of my ign switch, thru a kill switch and then to distributor module. works a charm

Re: Heater motor wire help

That would be my guess, brown is positive on household wiring, worst case senario with fan motor wiring is it will run backwards if wrong. wow it sure is different in the west then, red is the active (+) in domestic wiring and brown is the active in flex cable (extension lead) you sure about that s...

I still don't know why you Guys want to put the probe in the hose instead of the radiator fins?? I've fitted dozens to the radiator fins and they work fine! Or is this just about puting something in a hole? :impatient: +1 its a piss easy install and doesnt have sealing / cutting hose issues,...

im a fan of the natural or a mid grey color mate. trouble with an all black (or close to it) center is you tend to lose the detail of that part of the wheel as your eye is mainly drawn to the shiny rim and the disc behind it. much prefer these classic stylish and easy to clean wheels... http://i1095...

Re: Front fender stone dent insulation

stoneguard gets my vote steven, we use it on rally car sills and lower rear qtr with great success. the good stuff isnt cheap though. youd have to have the underside of the guards clean as, it needs to stick like shit to a blanket and ive had paintless dent removal done on both my cars with brillian...

Re: Turn Signals / Reverse Lights

I used switch back globes like these on Blue. Work fine for my Nut wiring harness. Nuts, how bright is the white reverse section of the lamp? I did the changeover about 2 years back to just indicators and certainly would like reverse lamps. ive already changed out the lamp socket base for modern am...

The worst part of the davies craig adjustable type controllers is you begin by guessing. Once you finally get it right, someone will inevitably make an 'adjustment' for you when you aren't looking and you are back to square one. sorry jas cant agree mate, i used an infrared temp gun to indicate coo...
