Re: Rusty 66 Coupe
Did you have to bend that cross over seat riser to fit it? Reason I ask is that it should only fit the lower height tunnel if sitting on the inner rocker. If it has been massaged to fit, then I would imagine the seats would now not be parallel. Maybe now it needs to be cut as it rises in the center ...

Re: Rusty 66 Coupe
I am late to the party (as usual). Been a bit distracted by men's sheds coming out of lockdown and I needed to do my visits. Now being Sunday and raining, I can catch up. Tunnel clearance when I am installing a larger gearbox is as much as I can get to allow ease of working. I normally allow a littl...

Re: front wheel bearings and pads
Take your bearings and seals to a bearing supply. They can match them up.
Pads are Falcon of the same era. Mrsozbilt's Mach1 has XW Falcon brakes and I replaced the pads in the USA with Mustang pads when we had it over there.

Mrsozbilt's 69 Mach 1 freshen up
Carol's Mach is long overdue for a paint freshening. While we were living in California the clear coat started to lift off. So now we have been back in Australia for 14 years, it is possibly time for a repaint. While it is pulled down, it will get an engine freshen up, automatic service (FMX) and go...

Re: Ozbilt's travels
Where has the time gone? Still trying to get over losing relative's and good mates. Mrsozbilt and I will be traveling around locally (think NSW) until late February when we go to the USA then Panama. Spent my time in lockdown, looking after the men's sheds in my zone and have now become real busy wi...

Re: The ADR's - converting the reversing lights into indicators?
Mrsozbilt's 69 Mach has been engineered in NSW since 1992 and the rear flashers are in that report as being in the reversing lights. That being said, while I am repainting and generally freshening up the car, I am putting the turn signals back in the tail light's. Reason is the car will be returning...

That was a tough and emotional journey watching the service today. Now it becomes our job to keep the memories alive and support Heather and the girls.

Re: Rusty 66 Coupe
Considering that 55 years ago it was built, never painted on the inside, by 1973 (fuel crisis) it was worth nothing, probably left outside for years ..... It is not too bad
