I have a 65 fastback and my engineering report says the unladen mass is 1380kg but that sounds awfully higher than 2800lbs. PM me your email address and i will send you a copy of my report and you can have a look.

For some time I have been having issues with my handbrake on my 65 fastback. Main reason this is an issue is that I live on a sloped driveway and can park it in gear in the driveway but I need the handbrake as well. I believe it has a new cable but the handbrake does not stop the car rolling on slop...

Just not for the fruit products 😊
