351 roller dissy
Hey Guys In the middle of building a 408 stroker and am up to buying a dissy. Can anyone recommend a dissy to suit the 351 style block and what gear to get ? I have retro Hydraulic roller cam installed. There are so many to choose from. I like the E-Curve dissy but it's only available for the 302.

Re: hydraulic clutch conversion
When I get back from shift in 8 days time I will try a clutch master inverted like the pics and see if it clears eveything. Would be good to know if it clears in a 67. Well done Mate.....great thinking.

Re: hydraulic clutch conversion
Wow Scott , that looks pretty cool and gives me a few ideas. Would be easier to weld some brackets to the pedal box than trying to stiffen the firewall.

Re: hydraulic clutch conversion
Got a hold of a wilwood master cylinder and it looks like it will work with the angled shim. It would work straight in, but then I would have to drill a new hole for the pivot pin.

Still not clear if it will clear Booster....I should just dump the Booster, it does fck all.

Re: hydraulic clutch conversion
I may have to get the LF kit and make an angled plate to push Master cylinder down.
Nice work Shaunp, plenty of room in a 67....to swing a cat...

Re: hydraulic clutch conversion
Check the pic of my firewall. You can see just under the brake booster it looks like a circle disc you can punch out. It does not look like a clutch master cylinder will fit without hitting the booster? I have sent an email to Moderns as that is the set up I would like to use. http://www.clubcobra.c...

hydraulic clutch conversion
Hey Guys I have been reading about hydraulic clutch conversions and more to do with the pedal side things. I am converting to hydraulic, I have a standard 66 manual pedal box with the stock power booster. I have found a few conversion kits online but none seem to confirm if they fit with the booster...

Re: 351W into 66 Stang
Motor is coming along nicely...Bits and pieces have been arriving from Summit......nothing like coming home from shift and finding a pile of boxes waiting for you. Hopefully boring will be finished soon, block was crack tested. The Probe pistons look like they need a lot finishing, more deburring I ...

Re: 351W into 66 Stang
I have decided to bore the block to 60 over, I don't like the idea but it is already at 30 over with a lip. A few people have told me they had no problems with over heating so will give it a go. Here's my build list 351W bored to 60 over SCT-9351W46 FORD 351 SMALL BLOCK PRB-12360-060 h2 351 Windsor ...
