66 RHD conversion

Hey Guys

I am about to start converting my LHD 66 to RHD. I have a kit for the install.
My question is what paper work if any needs to be done before I start?

Do I need to submit a vehicle modifacation form?

Re: Steering not self centering

Ok Latest update The car is now self centering when turning. Only just but good enough for the pits I would say. Here's what I found. My steering box had been adjusted and over tightened. I backed off the adjustment so my steering wheel turned easy and smooth. I had replaced the idler arm with a Sco...

Re: WHat to change on an import for licensing in WA

Well friday was not my day with storms and pouring rain it was not a good idea to take a drum brake car out to the pits. Will rebook and try again next week. In other news the car had a terrible vibration after about 2000rpm. Turns out the fan had bent blades and one wing missing. Remove dodgy fan a...

Re: Fabulos 50's Motor Company

Exactly, that is what I was wondering. Deal could go bad real quick.

I have a guy who inspects cars over there ,so that is no worries.

Re: WHat to change on an import for licensing in WA

Ok where do I get clear lenses from for the front indicator?
The headlight inserts I got have park light globes in them, maybe I should wire the park lights to the new headlights? I thought the lights had to stay the same as the yanks intended?

Cheers for the tips Guys, heading off soon.

Cheers Tim

Bugger I don't have the space to carry out that correction, maybe I could put it at the end?

Do I need to fit an immobiliser?
Will update what work order I get tomorrow night.
