Ok So got my 66. Here's what I have done for rego Changed headlights to Aussie inserts. Made sure all lights are working (the American way) degreased engine and under car. No rust found yet. Stamped engine number with last 6 of VIN(front of block behind alternator). Tightened loose front wheel beari...

My 66 is completely standard, not even a sports steering wheel. Still has drum front brakes , stock motor. Steel wheels with hub caps. Pretty boring really.
Was not sure about the belts as some posts have said take them out and others say leave them in.
I will probably try Welshpool.

Is there a favourable Licensing centre? I would love to know.

Stamp last 6 of VIN to engine block.
Replace headlights
Remove lap belts fitted.

I would be interested in this info as my i 66 is due to arrive soon and first job is to get the car licensed. Not looking forward to facing up to the DPI.

I have Viper needs aswell. I just went through the ' I want to bring one in' and no one wanted to know except for a Guy over east that wanted 50k to comply and RHD the car.

Yes I will be doing the conversion, I have a bit of fab / welding experience. Also happy if parts need to be made like drag links, then maybe we can get 2 made at the same time.
