Re: Exhaust choices...
Hi All has anybody used the hooker aero chamber mufflers? Was thinking of a pair of 2 1/4” for my 289.

Re: holley sniper instal
I just checked out the new Holley pump setup. Looks stock and no fuel lines in the boot. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/fuel_tanks/efi_conversion_fuel_tanks/parts/VK040023 I previously looked at the hydramat product, it acts as a reservoir during cornering only pulling fuel from wherev...

Re: Grab A Trac leaf springs in OZ?
Ahh sorry they are on the car but I'm a long way from finding out how they feel/handle. You can check out the vintage mustang forum for suspension threads, here's one. http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/mod-custom-forum/636686-bilstein-shocks.html#/topics/636686?page=2 Ozbilt took me for a run in Boo...

Re: Grab A Trac leaf springs in OZ?
I ended up buying the Maier racing leaf springs as a part of a rear suspension package deal direct from Mike Maier Inc in US. Great to deal with https://mikemaierinc.com/product/mustang/mod1-rear-suspension-package/ I spoke to a few manufacturers here in Australia, a few said happy to make them thou...

Re: Edz 66 Convertible
Hi Ed just read your thread, nice work. I noticed you were after info on trans am dogbone style shock tower strengthening, Ozbilt did these for me and did a good write up on it in Patience's thread - look for Kerry's signature cornflakes packet https://www.mustangtech.com.au/Forums/viewtopic/t=5403/...

Re: Interesting how the market has changed
I think it's more interesting that all models are likely to go electric or at least hybrid. I mountain bike and in a recent trip to the trails in Victoria there are more and more high end e bikes on the trails. My 8yo Yeti carbon/alloy full suspension American made mtb is now considered a relic wort...

Re: Project 'Patience' the 64.5 Fastback
Where it bolts to the dash I was planning on making that wider anyway to suit the commodore collapsible column mount. Who knows maybe the 67 pedal support will match the commodore bolt pattern. if that makes sense to anyone

Re: Project 'Patience' the 64.5 Fastback
Thanks Kerry so the 67 bolt pattern will fit in the 65 firewall recess ok? As it looks to have one bolt way out. I should explain I'm thinking of going Hydroboost and getting a mounting plate to suit the 65 and mod the support or a plate in the 67 bolt pattern and redrill the firewall

Re: Project 'Patience' the 64.5 Fastback
Hi I'm keen on using the 67 pedal support in my 65. This to get a better brake pedal ratio for power brakes than the 65-66 set up which is non power only. Wondering what mods are involved if anybody has done this.

RK That is one sweet looking car. In the beginning of your thread I thought you were nuts going with a reddy brown colour but that really pops. That shed's another level altogether. Better than most of the houses I've lived in....respect

Re: rhd steering conversion
Also if you need to get all the suspension components anyway as you have a 6. I'd consider putting in 67 shock towers and install the 68 and later suspension you will end up with more room in the engine bay. Wish I did that from the start.
