Last I heard they were about $3k on ebay.

Re: Buy or bower an export brace

Hmmm,
Not sure - my montecarlo bar goes across just in front of the intake - should be the same for yours.
Maybe we have different motor mounts - Do you have 65 or 66's ?
Actually - Looking at it again - I reckon it would clear :) (Just have to shorten the coil pack bracket)

Image

This was the best as the montecarlo bar was bolted to the export brace - making a nice rigid frame

Re: Buy or bower an export brace

What's fouling ?
Ive had 2 efi Systems in my 66 - a stock HO one and a special Tickford 5.6
I did have to reweld the coil pack bracket to clear - but I felt it better as I got the one piece export brace,
I'll see if I can find some photos and details of the brace

Gents,
The Maier / Mustangs plus 2 piece export brace / montecarlo bar is a nice fit with efi however....

Re: 289 heads and cam changeout

i think its a great idea dropping the roller in temporarily... Having the luxury to send blocks away for machining without strict timeframes (too loose and you may never see it !) can save some coin in my experience - as they can use it when they dont have other customers expectations. But most impo...

Still - any excuse for an engine building party..

And yes - if it's apart - there is no excuse not to go a 347 !

Re: 289 heads and cam changeout

Hi Bud, I am in Mandurah, not sure exactly where you are - but if your after a spot to put it together that is a nice clean area, I have a bit sectioned off in the shed for just that purpose... engine crane, stand and a bit of a toolkit available (most things you'd need to put it back together) - al...

Re: US Muscle Car Skidpan @ RAC Driving Centre (WA)

Would love to,
Just waiting on getting my export brace / montecarlo bar setup for my baby.
(Its missing at the momet - and I need a special one for the efi conversion...)
Probably shouldn't drive it like that without one !
