There's plenty of armchair experts here and like Hybrid, I think 10mm should be sufficient if you're using urethane mounts. One thing to consider though, is whether you can easily remove and replace the gearbox without scratching up the tunnel.

There should be enough room to mount the pump under the rear splash tray. I did a trial fit on a 67 and appeared to fit ok. Only issue would be checking levels. It looks as though it would fit a 65-6 also. Was going to do this but then i'd have to fill all the holes in the apron then repaint it. I a...
