Re: Edz 66 Convertible

Mr Ed, sounds like a voltage problem at the coil. Why not try running 12v directly from the battery to the coil and see how it starts and runs.

Re: Edz 66 Convertible

I'd flush the system out with DX11 if you already have it. Otherwise run FS straight up. If the trans shifts ok, do a fluid change when you do an engine oil change. Remember, as I said to you, warranty expired when it left my cave. 😆

I have my 67 coupe insured with LSV for more than $40K. They are bullshitting you! Although, it could be that you have one of the not so popular ones!!! :stirpot:

Re: Cylinder head smog holes.

As Oz indicated, I believe you will find a threaded hole at the end of the heads. These are the air pump holes. All you need to do is plug these holes with a bolt.

Re: C4 to AOD/E. Benefits?

To Build it myself it probably owes me around $3K plus the core. Remember, they are actually tougher that a C4. The only drawback is the OD Band and Lock up shaft. Limit your WOT changes into 3rd and 4th and a stock unit will go forever. I have a few rebuilt units here if your interested. But my adv...
