Re: Shaun's 69 Coupe build

After more trolling here and a couple of calls to Gasoline Alley in Brissy, I bought some of their mounting plates and started sorting out this mess. http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb475/shaun071/My%2069%20Mustang%20Coupe/IMG_0902_zpsf32f92f7.jpg~original http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb4...

Re: Shaun's 69 Coupe build

Seat belts- I'd contacted a local engineering firm (Toowoomba) about getting the L02 compliance work done and they recommended a local performance shop. My thinking was this is primary safety stuff and get the professionals to do it. To say I was disappointed with the work is probably the understate...

Re: Shaun's 69 Coupe build

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've done a lot of googling looking for ideas etc and this forum kept coming up, especially about aussie spec brakes, seat belts and Falcon parts swaps. Re: C4 Auto Shifter Assembly

Thanks. I'll give him a call. I have a couple of XA-XD shifters I was looking a butchering to make work for LHD and had the same problem, too small for the hole.
This is my first Mustang and while most of it is pretty similar to the Falcons I've owned, the devils in the detail differences!!!!!

C4 Auto Shifter Assembly

Hi All, I've got a 69 coupe with a C4 fitted with a B&M Quick Silver shifter and would like to go back to a stock style shifter. I've seen repro 67-68 shifter assemblies on ebay etc, will this fit or do I have to get a shifter from a 69? I'm not worried about concourse correct or whether its is ...
