Re: Power steer pump - smaller than stock
Thanks. On my pump the return comes straight out from the back of the pump so that bracket may work.

Re: Power steer pump - smaller than stock
Sure can! The Mrs would love a break away from the kids! I'm not sure how good a job she'll do though. MMMM my missus looked like that I would not be on forums looking at old car stuff. :bananadance: Teething toddlers kill the libido. Lol I had a saginaw pump on a 351c fairlane. They'd modded the o...

Re: Rear disc brake adapters
The problem is the diff flange bolt pattern is rotated 90 degrees compared to the 8 inch. I have seen people fit the AU flange to an 8" or 9" housing and bolt them on. I bought the Hoppers kit to fit BA brakes onto a 8" or 9 inch. Wasn't cheap @ $1300 though. They use their own calipe...

Re: 302W-351C flexplate differences for AOD conversion
Thanks Boof. I'm working out the shopping list for the conversion. Looks like all I need now is a crossmember and yoke for the tailshaft. I thought it'd be better to fit it now while the coupe is in pieces.

If it makes you feel better the saginaw pumps were factory fitted to 80s/90s 6 cyl Falcons.

302W-351C flexplate differences for AOD conversion
Hi All, I've decided to fit my AOD up behind the original 302W in the 69 coupe. The AOD was fitted behind a 351C in my old Falcon using the 351C/C4 flex plate and block plate. The flex plate is a 28 oz balance and 164 tooth. Can I re use these on the 302w or do I need a windsor specific flex plate a...

Re: '70 aftermarket gauge panels. Help
I bought the Dakota Digital VHX analogue set up through Summit for my 69. Black Alloy faces with blue back lighting. I got the metric set with kmh speedo. I haven't fitted it yet but comes with very detailed instructions and all the sensors needed. Looks to be a relatively simple install. Cost about...

Re: Shaun's 69 Coupe build
It's lots of fun...not!! It's taking a lot of time but I'm happy with the result. It's surprising how little rust there is given the coupe's 45 years old. The big killer for me is time now. In between work and 2 toddlers there isn"t enough time in the day to get things done. I'm down to mainly ...

How did the AAW wiring go? I've got the same set up. AAW wiring and VHX gauges to go in. Any traps for young players?

Re: Ronin187 - pics as promised
I bought the same dash for my 69 coupe but with metric speedo and temp. Took 6 weeks to deliver through Summit. The instructions are very detailed and it looks to be a simple job.

Re: 351C Engine Questions-Comp Ratio and Induction ETC
I have a 670 Holley Avenger here NOT in a box  Any way, I plug it into my system here and with a 62.8 cc Closed chamber head your 351 if decked would be 10.7 : 1 compression or if not then just over 10:1 . My experience is your on the edge at 10.7 with Iron heads, smallish Cam for that static ...
