Re: Ordering from NPD
Npd were great to deal with, my only prob was not having a shipping calculator so you don't know the all up price straight away. Makes it a bit harder to shop around as freight varies so much between vendors and no-one seems to be consistently cheaper/dearer than anyone else.

Re: PPG Aerospace metal primer
I had a look at the TDS, thanks for the tip. It said the primer was only compatible with PPG aero 4040 system which gives me a lovely choice of matt green, black or tan as a top coat, all of which I can get for nix at work as well. I don't mind matt black.... But it only looks good for the first cou...

Re: FAST EZ-EFI 2.0
The new ez efi 2.0 has an option of some form of ignition control though you need their distributor or a mod to your electronic dizzy to use it. I don't understand how good the ignition control is or the difference with the mega squirt so will do some reading as well. Re the fuel pump I found a goo...

PPG Aerospace metal primer
A question for the painters, I can get PPG Aerospace metal primer from work that is out of shelf life. If we have it on the shelf for 6 months it can't be used on aircraft so it gets "disposed" We might do a couple of touch ups from a 5kg can in the 6 months then the rest gets binned. Its ...

Re: 351 stroker
I built a 351C from mostly stock components- stock stroke, mild cam 302 closed chamber heads etc and it worked really well, reliable, not a pig to drive and enough power to frighten most ricers and HSV's. AND would tow a car trailer as if it wasn't there at all. It was in my daily driven XD for 6 ye...

Re: Shaun's 69 Coupe build
Thanks for the link Nassi. I'd heard of the conformal tanks and even got a quote for the XB convertible when I changed it to LPG. The main reason I've gone off LPG is convenience and cost. It's a 50km round trip to the nearest servo with LPG. It'll still be cheaper than running petrol but not as big...
