So bought new quarter, mate and I decided to just do half quarter replacement!

As you can see the left quarter was quiet damaged

I have just had the control valve rebuilt, is it standard to do the seats during a rebuild? I might pull it all out and attach the hoses. I belived I did them tight, will go tighter but is there is a risk of going over tight? Are the acorns the seats mentioned? Will look up stangers to get the seats...

so what is the purpose of this tube?
And should I take the rubber rings out and put the tube in the centre?
Next question how tight do I go?
