Ok, that is a change. Or a F&F setup, as they flat refused to do one for me a few years ago.
And yes, nothing on these cars is absolute (well, maybe a mustang badge somewhere is!) just noting the cutouts are commonly not aligned to the VIN.

Re: Project Brandy
If it is missing, then Kevin Marti can make you a new one, however if you can find the old one it will save you quite a bit of coin. Not a '68 dash VIN tag, door/warranty tags yes. Pretty sure Marti gave up doing VIN tags quite a few years back after one bozo tired to rebody a car with a new Marti ...

Re: Window repair
Have seen it called strip seal and setting tape. Comes in various thicknesses. IIRC 1/16" works for Mustang window glass. https://www.npdlink.com/store/products/seal_strip_glass_channel_1_16_inch-141849-1.html http://www.ebay.com/bhp/glass-setting-tape I may have a spare roll, or part of one. H...

Looking for wiring harness repair items
Looking to restore some tail light harnesses.
Anyone know of a supplier who may be able to provide:
1. the tiny contacts at the end of the wire on the bulb sockets.
2. tiny springs to replace corroded ones in the 1157 spring-loaded taillight sockets
3. correct wire loom/cover
???

Re: Rear brakes not gravity bleeding after booster replacement
Did you fully bench bleed to remove any air from the piston/body of the MC?
Simple continuity test on the switch can see if the piston is off center. Pull it, test open/close (continuity across contacts when pin pushed in), if good reinstall and retest to see if its open or closed.

Yep, in my work (engineering) our corporate management has the same concept. Simplistic one-size-fits-all concepts to accommodate a wide range of industries, projects, users, roles, and requirements... doomed to failure (or just mediocrity). Forcing a screen and commands one can view on a 34" c...

Have cleared cache, deleted all internet history (even passwords and then log in manually, no change), etc. Will continue tinkering, thanks for the tips. Have tried Chrome and Firefox, etc, but generally use IE as its the same as our IT use on work machines (consistency of format/use) As for 10/8, (...

Same log in but the one that shows it is Win10 (big mistake upgrading) and the other is Win8. Anyone else seeing this or ...

Re: Mustang wreckers for 68 sheet metal?
And on the repros check them very carefully. When I needed one for the S GT coupe all the repro ones at that time had an incorrect scoop curve, for some odd reason its followed the 67 curves (I guess to stamp the base skin fro 67 and 68 and then stamp out the 67 holes for the "fins", but j...
