Re: Husky's 65 Restomod
Still overseas. Seeing as though we cant get the GT350 back in oz I thought I may as well splash out and enjoy this 8k+ revving flat plane monster. Mods will be pretty simple for a while as I need to keep the warranty, the 5.2 voodoo motors have been known for certain issues so I want to make sure I...

Re: Holley EFI Fuel sender
Yeah that is good. Holley really are dominating the efi market I reckon. After seeing their dominator ecu in another car recently, I would 100% go that way if I was ever doing an efi conversion again, I wonder how much that regulator can flow. Because if it could handle a larger fuel pump like a wal...

Re: Husky's 65 Restomod
Hey fellas it's not my funeral, you can still spend my money  When I say plan my next build I mean start my next build...just trying to figure out the best way to do it right now. Would like to get a body and spend the next 2-4 years paying someone to do the bodywork so by the time I get ba...

Re: Edz 66 Convertible
One day, I plan to try the late model falcon/mustang (the thin wide cross flow ones .. i think 26") radiator like Nick did. Looks neat and gives soo much more room between engine and radiator and does the job really well. Was actually recommended to me, as an option, by one of the USA rad comp...

Re: Husky's 65 Restomod
It's a sad day gentlemen. Against everyones advice, the mustang is gone.
A bit of family time coming up, and then planning for the next build. I guess that's exciting in itself

Re: Husky's 65 Restomod
Pretty quiet in here lately. Too many people spending money on chrissy presents instead of car parts I think. Anyway update for mine is that it is most likely going to go in storage for 2-4 years. I say most likely because I have put a couple feelers out there to sell it, but I have somewhere to sto...

Re: Another Scott Drake fail - perspex Cowl Covers are garbage
I have a cutout magnetic strip that fits perfectly over the cowl, and is strong enough to not fly off when driving. I have never used it and can't remember who I bought it off, but someone from the states. It has a white paintable surface. Idea is you can just roll it up and leave it in your glovebo...

Re: Husky's 65 Restomod
Kerry I had no braking issues when I first got the car. I'll be honest, I just like big brakes. Charbel, yeah I have a wilwood adjustable proportioning valve. The kit is just 355mm rotors with the same calipers, literally just a backet that moves the caliper outwards. I wouldn't go to a brembo rear ...

Re: Husky's 65 Restomod
So I currently have the 05-14 mustang rear brake kit that Mustang Steve in the states sells. Uses a 298mm rotor with a PBR caliper which has an spring loaded park brake on it. A few seperate companies over there, including Baer, sell an offset bracket to fit 355mm rotors to the 05-14 mustang rear br...
