Re: Dumb Noob question on RHD info!

Thanks everyone. I'm hearing the why not try LHD before you dump big $$ voices, but as someone whose driven around Europe in a RHD pommie car before, I bloody hated it. Crap for overtaking etc. Maccas and Gas pump access is another smaller point but it all adds to the pain... As expensive as it migh...

Re: Wheels & Tyres on a Bullit clone

Ta Boof,

Just basing it on Coopers published specs (attached). They state 6 to 7.5 as the rim range for the 225/70x15. So IMHO 7" should be spot on, if anything slightly on the wide side of the median rim width.

Science aside, I think I'd live!

Re: Wheels & Tyres on a Bullit clone

Pity theres not many suppliers for the Torque Thrusts down here. Prices seem about double what I can pay from Summit or Mustang Depot etc. Same with the tyres... Seems like the best of a mediocre bunch would be the Cooper Cobra GT's in 225/70x15 or maybe that on the front and 235 or 245 on the rear....

Re: Wheels & Tyres on a Bullit clone

Hi Boof, It will be the other way around for me. I'll be upgrading the brakes up to whatever the correct wheels will allow. I've spoken to RRS and Mustang Depot and it seems there are decent options for road cars that will fit under the 15" wheels. 4.5 offset seems the STD amount, and 7" w...

Wheels & Tyres on a Bullit clone

Hello all, Couldn't find this using the search so here it is; Fitting 15" Torque Thrusts to my 1968 390GT Fastback soon. Standard offset. 7" seems the usual, any problems with fitting 8's ? Is there any point or will a standard car not take big enough rubber to matter anyway? Not intereste...

Dumb Noob question on RHD info!

I've done a search and come up with multiple hits but none are what I am looking for. Spoke to a shop today who told me there are tech sheets on the RHD conversion process here, been couldn't find them in the download section etc. Can someone be so kind as to direct me where to find them? Thanks in ...
