Re: rear springs

This is using a mid eye from MikeMaierInc, no lowering blocks with 265/35/18 in the rear.

If you measure from the pinch weld slot in the rear its about 8 1/4" from the ground to the top of the slot.

Re: Grab A Trac leaf springs in OZ?

Hi guys, Dwaynes correct I have a set of the Mike Maier Inc springs extra. I put one set on the Mach 1 and have done 1 day at Baragellos in time trial runs and a top speed run at Racewars, both events and they performed with no issues, no wheel hop and the ride on the road isn't punishing. I also pu...

Re: Ronin187 - pics as promised

Try putting some more caster into the wheel alignment if you can, will help with keeping straight at speed and will give a better feel, with power steering, as long as you have room in the wheel well and adjustable strut rods its an easy fix.

ApocaLaps Autocross events in Perth

Hope this is ok to put up here, if not let me know and I can move/delete. I've been to all 5 of the previous events in Perth and its good bunch of enthusiasts who have either close to stock cars or been modified for Protouring. The numbers are small, most have been before so everyone knows each othe...

Re: Mike Maier Inc Front Suspension, 70 Mach 1

Hi Trav Yeah the strut rod is alloy, with left and right hand threads. I'll weigh everything when I do the swap and document it to the inth degree. Won't be till I come back from work next time though We'll be at the WA Hot Show on the weekend, If anyone is heading down and wants to have a look, I'l...

Mike Maier Inc Front Suspension, 70 Mach 1

So I rebuilt the front end of the Mach1 so everything was new and strengthened the lower control arms when I rebuilt the car a year and a half ago. The plan was always to do Mike Maier Inc front suspension when I could afford it. Well sometimes you just get stuff even though you can't afford to........

Re: Rear parcel shelf & ADR's

The sub set up and Amp, both in the boot. Big section cutout on the RH side is for the spare tyre to fit, it used to anyway.

Re: Rear parcel shelf & ADR's

I installed an Alpine system and mounted the 6X9s as per my pics, I built a subwoofer box as per the calcs off the internet, 6" rounds in the doors and cross-overs in the A pillars and the sound is as clear as a bell and stays that way as loud as I want to crank it. Thats what I did with out th...

Re: Rear parcel shelf & ADR's

These are 6X9 turned sideways, no cutting, more aerodynamic:) and no speaker boxes. Parcel shelf metal was covered in Dynomat= no rattles. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/booahanyway/New%20parcel%20tray%20300820152.jpg~original http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii11/booahanyway/New%20parcel...
