All of these publications are very informative. They are actual copies of the original engineering drawings used to assemble the cars at the factories. Good to use as a cross reference when working on your car.

Thanks Kerry, you just saved me alot of time. Sean gave me the one off the engine from his F100 thinking they were the same. I just had a quick look on the net and I can see that the proper one is different to what I have. They have splayed edges also like the Canton ones do.

Your right. I just hopped under and checked. The Canton is 35mm deep with splayed edges and the one on the car is 50mm to where the touch mark are. You wouldn't believe where I got the sump from - Sean.

Is it possible that the sump is too deep at the rear? It was off an F100.

Mounts are only 6 months old. The drag link is the correct one for a power steering setup. I have also changed upper and lower control arms, pitman arm and idler arm, and fully overhauled the power steering prior to changing the sump.
