Was that factory specific or service item?

Yes I read that in another forum as well. 4spd is longer than an auto one.

The correct part number should be C7ZZ-4602-D.

I know it's not local for you but I strongly recommend Heasmans Steering in Sydenham. They are second to none when it comes to steering and suspension.
Ring and book because they are always busy.

They definitely know their stuff.

Start of with a fresh set and they will sit nice and neat.
Some of those look way too long.

I was thinking along the same lines. Long trips, more comfort with a nice quiet cabin to enjoy the sound of the engine.
