Re: Project Lil Blue Coupe

Still can't get to my car under all of the bits unfortunately, but the workshop and backyard reno's are finally drawing to a close. The insulated roof and walls for the workshop are now in place, so I just need to build the doors over Easter so it's secure enough for me to move all my tools and part...

Re: Rusty 66 Coupe

In SA we have a listing of about a dozen engineers approved by our rego dept to certify brake/suspension etc mods. Sot at Speed Garage is the go to guy down here.

Does NSW have a similar list?

Fitted 29 of them in the build plate, how many did you need me to send over Ray?

Re: Rusty 66 Coupe

Nice Welds!! Dwayne, What are those doovers? 3d printed panel gap tool to make it easier for consistant 3/16" gaps. Also added a small magnet in each one so they don't fall out when doing doors etc https://i.postimg.cc/28pkdzwh/DSC-0985.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/tJ6X0fXs/DSC-0986.jpg

Nuts wrote:Is it the block that's drilled incorrectly or is it the oil pan? Nice build by the way. Thoroughly entertaining.
I know which one is the easier fix 😉

Great work, do you think you'll need to put on a shield to protect from any rocks that may kick up?

Re: Project Lil Blue Coupe

Blast cabinet is now up and running nicely. Once the storage/workshop area is enclosed I'm building an oven so I can powdercoat and cerakote at home. Going to make it big enough to fit rear seat frames, headers, exhausts and wheels. https://i.postimg.cc/nL2fZfPH/DSC-1478.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/3ND...

Re: Project Lil Blue Coupe

Keep getting asked to rebuild seats, so instead of sending all the frames out for blasting...

Joining 2 cabinets together and opening up the door a little extra. I can now fit a rear seat frame inside 😉

Re: Rusty 66 Coupe

You'd have to drill out all of the spot welds from the drip rails, including all the ones under the roof skin.

Kerry's probably done it before 🤔
