Re: transmission options
From memory it's ... trans crossmember, 164t flexplate, shifter linkage (if stock shifter), Lokar TV cable. I've also got 3.89 gears up back.ozbilt wrote:That is something that hybrid or gbx78 could answer. Re: Electric Power Steering
Can you enable CAN coming out of your Megasquirt (pins 3 & 4) and try to replicate some of the factory Toyota signal?

Re: Electric Power Steering
Actually it looks as though the ECU for this unit is actually part of it (The square box on top). But aside from the obvious massive power and GND, I'm not sure of the rest of the wiring. Most people seem to be doing this with earlier EPS models (2007 ish). There's a smaller red wire that I could g...

Looking forward to seeing this come together. Do you need engineering certificate and lane change testing over in NSW?

Re: Project Lil Blue Coupe
Picked up a couple of full sets of coupe seats last week, so started cleaning them and retrimming them to sell. Forgot how much I hate doing the hogrings, but getting the hang of it again. Six front buckets and 2 sets of rears to do. https://i.postimg.cc/SskZmPD2/IMG-20210118-214733-394.jpg https://...

Made a better mini-harness to join the ECU and relay, came out much neater than the original U-shaped one I made. https://i.postimg.cc/6QSLQnFF/IMG-20210110-145613-841.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/MGXmxd3y/IMG-20210110-145613-842.jpg As I'm running aftermarket air-con, I'm going to fill the cowl vents. ...

Re: How much vacuum do you need?
Sounds like my brother, he's still stuck on a rig off the coast of Guyana working 12hr days, 7day weeks for many months straight, plus 2wks hotel quarantine at either end. Think he's only been home for 2mths this year.mungus wrote: So after 9.5 months away I was finally allowed to go home for a few weeks.
