Re: 66 Mustang diff ID
I hope they've fitted the V8 spindles (5-stud) up front and not just left the weaker ones there.

Re: Project Lil Blue Coupe
Started converting the dash to a bolt-in, using an extra overlap section welded on top, with about a dozen M8 rivnuts securing it in place. Should make wiring up and accessing everything much easier later on. Hoping to be able to remove the whole dash intact with gauges, a/c, stereo wiring etc in pl...

Re: 1929 Model A Ford Roadster Pickup Project
I remember back in the olden days as an apprentice painter, the boss managed to find someone interstate that was able to send us a some leftover paint from a crash repair they had done on a rare car. We used his sample to spray a scrap door and then colour matched enough paint for a full respray. Wo...

Either inside the car, or somewhere else I can find to hide it away.

Re: Project Lil Blue Coupe
That's what I was worried about but couldn't find much online about shielding them ... so thought perhaps it was just me being paranoid and uneducated (as usual). Is there a general rule of thumb safe distance I need to keep them away from the main EFI harness? I can just run them through another bu...

Re: Project Lil Blue Coupe
Is it worth shielding the CDI to Coil +- wires when running them within the engine harness and deutsch bulkhead fitting? I've only found a couple of posts about shielding them. I'm only shielding the hall crank sensor wires (at one end), and running twisted pairs for all the other sensors to the ECU.

Re: 65/66 Mustang length without guards
I got 4.35m from front of hood bumper mounts to the taillight panel. Measured it without taillights, bumpers, extensions etc.

Re: Project Lil Blue Coupe
The megasquirt relay board is nearly finished, just need to add some power and solder the engine ground to the pad. I swapped the board into a bigger case and I'm using ferules on the terminal black to keep the engineers at work happy 😊 I also upgraded the 20awg wires in the stock harness to 18awg f...
