Powerflow stainless steel mufflers are basic (but okay) straight through glasspacks. I sell a lot of s/s mufflers made to look like Magnaflows. They are fully welded, polished, with steel wool internals. A mate of mine has them made in China (where most are made)

Having heard Peter leave Nassi's at the BBQ, his is a good setup..
At idle (and presumably cruise) it wasnt obtrusive.. but when he got on the loud pedal.. it was exactly that.

Ultraflow is a Lukey / Dynamax stainless muffler. Nothing special. Internal baffle tubing is wrapped in stainless mesh with the rest surrounded by fibreglass matting. It states (from Walker) that the fibreglass won't blow out (crap) when it gets older or is used for racing ... it does blow / disintergrate. On the positive side it is shiney & looks fast !!! Lukey Race Mufflers are a bit tougher. I still prefer the VTX mufflers for in-cabin quietness.
I'll pm you with a price.

Hi Bee
What size engine, mods, etc & exhaust system are you running? Tri-y's will always make them quieter.

Exhausted, what muffler/s are you recommending at present? I need two 2.25inch 10x5x14's for the 302 AND indicative pricing would be useful as well

BTW, are you sure you are not coming 'over east' on a working holiday any time soon?

Ian, I still have a pair of magnaflows here. They're 3" but can be easily stepped down.

Hi Nuts
Thanks but you should use them on the new -that looks like the old- red car.
Was considering the Dynamax VT's (?) but have not actually heard anything +ve about them thus far but for Exhausted in this thread. Am now considering the Hooker 21501's as they are the size I want/need.
Cheers
