Bill Bourke's XW GT 428CJ
Not exactly a "project", but fits here for info on any future ideas ......
I have the Australian Muscle Car mag article of the same car, but this is worthy of a share here .....

Re: Bill Bourke's XW GT 428CJ
I've always admired this car. It was up for sale a few years back, I don't think it reached reserve.
It the real 1 of 1 car!!

What a beast. Shame that spec didn't make it into production.

I saw it in the early 70's when Bourke still "owned" it. Was at some Ford display we were at.ND69 wrote:I've always admired this car. It was up for sale a few years back, I don't think it reached reserve.

Those chrome tips on Bill's car look nice Cage. They would go really well on your thing.

Fantastic piece of history, thanks for the reminder on it Oz. It would have to be the most valuable Aussie muscle car by a country mile.

Not the quite the same league, but I had a 429 backed by a toploader in a ZD Fairlane....now that was a fun car.. ![Like :like:](./images/smilies/facebooklikebutton.gif)
