I've always struggled to plan any further ahead than what I can fit on my whiteboard in the shed but it's about the adventure if you're enjoying it its all good. although I was thinking there would have to be spreadsheets or planning stuff out there some of the mine sites I've worked at run with military precision and have computer software to ensure correct parts are available when required and to ensure everything is done in the righ order something like that for car builds would be handy for creating a general plan. Says the guy who just realises he is going to have to weld through all the dynamt he spent days laying 12 months ago.
