While I love them on my 68. gotta say they look crappy on the 16 models.
Re: 2016 Mustang gets some trick bits .....
Wow...I obviously know that the 69s had the scoop signals but I've never noticed the recessed ones on the 67/68. They kind of look like an afterthought on the 2016s, it would look nicer if they were flush like the 67/68.

Have they included these so the Yanks can see when they forget to turn them off?
Re: 2016 Mustang gets some trick bits .....
Nope, they are there to remind California drivers they have not turned them on.malscar wrote:Have they included these so the Yanks can see when they forget to turn them off?
No one uses turn flashers over here, you have to be a mind reader to work out what they are doing ......

Sounds like Perth, if you see one on here it don't mean thats where the driver is going just that the indicator is functional.ozbilt wrote:Nope, they are there to remind California drivers they have not turned them on.malscar wrote:Have they included these so the Yanks can see when they forget to turn them off?

It's not limited to Perth mate. It's an epidemic. It appears to be most common with young women on P plates. I suspect they are more concerned about text messages and facebook than focusing on controlling the car, driving in accordance to the road rules and considering other drivers.nassi wrote:Sounds like Perth, if you see one on here it don't mean thats where the driver is going just that the indicator is functional.ozbilt wrote:Nope, they are there to remind California drivers they have not turned them on.malscar wrote:Have they included these so the Yanks can see when they forget to turn them off?

That's why I like loud cars. The noise helps to tap into another of their senses, as sight is not alway used behind the wheel.DD289 wrote:It's not limited to Perth mate. It's an epidemic. Funny you should say that............... I was up at the licensing shop one day and there was a guy there with two Harley's trailored of coarse. He brings the first up for inspection and noise level test and all goes well but the next one failed the noise level so he takes it back to the carpark and swaps the exhaust systems from one bike to the other, all in full view of the inspectors. Then rides it back and passes the test. This all done on the registry grounds and in full view.Pinto-Pete wrote:Seems to work for Harley riders...nassi wrote:Would that stand up in court Moe?moe wrote: That's why I like loud cars. Come on Nassi, surely old mate was going to take them both straight home and fit a legal exhaust system to the initial bikenassi wrote:Funny you should say that............... Safe to say that from 10km away, coz if he rides over to me, most of the bits will fall off it before it gets to me
