Any way to change the new color scheme...
minor issue, and "new" always looks "off".. but the white-on-white-with-light-blue text is really hard on the eyes... and user setting to tune it...???

Re: Any way to change the new color scheme...
What colour would you prefer the text to be?
Only link text is blue, and that has to be a different colour to the normal text, or you don't know what's clickable and what isn't.

Re: Any way to change the new color scheme...
I have changed link text to a dark grey.
Better/worse? Any other suggestions?

I like it Hybrid.

Well I'm glad at least one person is happy
Re: Any way to change the new color scheme...
The closer it appears to how it was on the old site the better IMO.
Also, is there a config setting to display if there are unread PM's sitting there without going into member options? Sorry if this has already been covered, as I've been in a parallel universe for a couple of weeks.

Re: Any way to change the new color scheme...
The old site had BLUE ON WHITE!
Fark... I can't win.
Unread PM's should show in the User Info block under your avatar.
You should also get a blue notification at the top of the page.

Re the colours, just my opinion, so maybe you have already "won" based on popular opinion.
For the record, I am not traditionally a forum man, nor am I an FB man (despite pressure from many and varied). However, I have recently joined two other forums and both frustrate the crap out of me trying to navigate them (as does FB when I do get on and poke around in response to messages). The old Mustangtech site however I found dead easy to navigate on PC an iPhone. Hopefully I discover this new site is as easy when I start using it again.
Thanks for all your work mate.

Re: Any way to change the new color scheme...
The general layout is exactly the same as the old site really.
It just has a different colour scheme.
By the way, if you want to test what happens when you have a new PM, just send one to yourself.
Note that the "info" message at the top of the screen will disappear once you navigate into the PM section of the site, even if you don't actually read the new PM. This is the same behaviour as the old popup message.

Re: Any way to change the new color scheme...
That worked out well , sent myself a PM, got an email, clicked the link and got this bugger:hybrid wrote:The general layout is exactly the same as the old site really.

More than a billion websites, and you had to pick this one

The URL that you requested, could not be found. Perhaps you either mistyped the URL or we have a broken link.
We have logged this error and will correct the problem if it is a broken link.
Any hints?

Re: Any way to change the new color scheme...
Yeah, I think the links are missing the http: from the front?
Does it just start with // ?
If so.. known issue that I need to fix.
