Hi Team
Had the gas changed over to the new stuff and a had the compressor reconditioned, all good on that front. Now i find the factory air (on the 68 cali special) only points to the feet instead of the face vents.
Any ideas what may cause this or how to fix it?
Thanks for any feedback, just trying to get it fixed before a 2,000 round trip to the gold coast!
Cheers Les

Re: Air conditioning vent direction issues
Usually the cable will connect to a flap to redirect the air.
Does the lever feel easier to move than normal? The cable may have come off, or the clamp holding the cable outer may have come lose.

Re: Air conditioning vent direction issues
Is the factory air directed using manifold vacuum? Maybe a hose came off.

Re: Air conditioning vent direction issues
Yes I think Luke has it, some of the control is definitely vacuum.
Re: Air conditioning vent direction issues
Thank you so much, you were exactly right! Vacuum line was off!!! Really appreciate the advice!
