Just finished the read, not that I completely understood, but I am beginning to grasp the subject .......

I notice you did not give a big shout out to the famous Holly Blue when talking electric fuel pumps. That would have to be the omission of the century Boof (then again, it would take another book describing how to mount one so it keeps it quiet, correct cage ? ........ :rotfl2: )

Cages experience and comments did kind of result in me leaving it out as an option. Most people simply do not like the noise so I selected a quality alternative.

Perhaps given Cage's current driving style and his affection for quiet then a syphon may have been more appropriate?

Agreed Astro holley pump is not to noisy - but then I did not mind Cages - having said that Astro's is quieter.

It was the way it was mounted and the fact it had solid lines running to it. I have fitted them so that with ign on before start you could only just hear them. Then again I am deaf ...... :snigger:

I don't know why people ignored my suggestion of adding a PWM speed controller to it. You only have to turn it down the slightest fraction and it will more than half the noise coming out of it. Believe me you could hear my Weldon EFI pump from across the road until I used a $30 PWM speed controller to turn it down.
