gear shift boot for standard floor console 67 Mustang

Hey,

I was fitting the floor console on the 67 fastback and the standard shift boot is a lot smaller than the console opening. Was there a different boot for standard transmission levers with the floor console?

Ryan, the last one I fitted up just used 64-8 boots n stuff. And it fits like crap.

How about stitching up a leather shifter boot like modern cars have, and attaching it to the underside of the console?

Think they still attach to the floor leaving a big gap in the console. I'd try to make one that attaches under the console to fill the gap completely.

I ordered the 69-70 boot - it is rectangular. Will see how it fits next week.
