What's this off - Part Identification

Was on a 66 coupe, pretty sure its not where it first started life. Anyone seen one before. The cone is circular at the opening and changes to an oval as it enters the base.

yep, looks like an air cleaner. Could be a horn cover off a Fox body- they were weird cars.

Had to be 67 or earlier as most 68 onwards had thermo flaps (part of the emissions system) in the snout.

Those are not very common as most of the 390 cars were GT which had a different air cleaner (now reproduced very well).
