Anybody in WA working on a project ATM?
I am looking for a struggling restorer to take some parts off my hands. Not a huge amount, mainly fasteners, brackets, shims, window rollers and bits and pieces. Quite a bit of electrical stuff and some bastardised looms that are still good for connectors or correct colour coded wire.
If you have a carton of something nice and half an hour to spare call me on 0405 356 315. Not interested in posting or cataloging, this is a virtual giveaway, just making space for a future project and hope these bits can go to someone in need.

How is the 56 F truck going while we are talking about projects?

I sold that a few years ago Kerry. I outsourced a chassis modification to a "professional" and was not happy with the result so knowing it would piss me off for ever and a day I sold it. It now resides on the south island of NZ. Into Jaguars now so passing on the Ford bits.

Having something that was not up to my standard would piss me off too. Jaguars are not a bad way to go.nassi wrote:I sold that a few years ago Kerry. I should have started collecting them a few years ago as they are going up in price now. After being spoilt for choice with Mustang parts I am finding this a little more difficult but still fun.

Hey Nassi, what model Jag are you considering/working on? How good are your rust repairs skills?

The project is a 75 Daimler coupe basically an XJC. Rust has bee cut out and replaced with repair sections although one area I will need to alter. The other is a pristine series 3, I just need to keep that polished.Ausjacko wrote:Hey Nassi, what model Jag are you considering/working on? How good are your rust repairs skills?

Cool. We found a guy in Bunbury who makes rubbers for all sorts of cars but particularly Daimlers. I can grab his details if you like.nassi wrote: The project is a 75 Daimler coupe basically an XJC.
