HappyOne needs help on connecting up GT Headlights

Post by HappyOne »

Guys,

My GT fog lights in the grill are not connected up. The little plugs are there but can't see any connections on the harness. mind you some wires have been cut off, so not really to sure!!

When wireing up GT lights, are they on a seperate switch to the dash or are they also activated when the headlights are activated on high beam only?

Some assistance would be appreciated.

:bash:

Hello HappyOne.
The fog lights are on a seperate switch. When my fog lamps are activated
the dash and rear tail lights also come on.
Now Happyone,if I am wrong please don't go back to being a Grumpyone.
Cheers................

Thats great mate.
Now I am not too sure as to where the proper location of the switch should be. Some pleple say under the ignition switch. My lights were fitted from the factory going by the Marti report and the switch is located just under the switch for the roof. I will be picking up my car on saturday so if you like and can wait I will take a pic for you and post it. It may help a bit.

I'll take you up on that A67PNY,

Would be good to see how they did it out of the factory.

Thanks

I have seen some mustangs with the switch under the ignition.

Many thanks A67PNY,

I agree with the location you have chosen.

Having it under the keys would be a silly spot. Also, having my little stubby opener dangling from the keys might get annoying after awhile when I need to use them!!

Thanks again for going to the trouble of taking the pics and posting them.
