Neat fastback, what's the story behind it?

I imported the car from the states in November last year, but as you can see the last owner decided to flare the back wheel arches, so I am in the proccess of fitting new outer wheelhouse panels, which were also flared out and fitting new quarter panel skins. i have almost finished the right side, then the left.
So at the moment it's stripped down to just a shell. I have also found the rear floors need replacing, but apart from that it's not to bad rust wise--------- yet!
I was having trouble posting a pic as my avatar, hense the larger pic, but all sorted now
