General Ramble
Hi Guys,
Great move on Blocking access to General Ramble.
But how do i access the topic section now once i have logged in , there is no section in the forum menu.
Do i have to go through "Todays Posts" and work back through the threads etc
Cheers

Hey Gator, take a look at the "Jump to:" list at the bottom right of the page...

Re: General Ramble
Don't understand what you mean.
The General Ramble forum should still be listed with all the other forums in the forum index page.
Nothing should have changed at all as far as members are concerned.

Re: General Ramble
Fellas,
Just conected my new computer to the internet and accessed the forum, every time I enter the forum I am asked to log in. The last computer I had appeared to operate in the way that once I clicked on the forum it remembered who I was. Where do I adjust this setting??????

Re: General Ramble
Below the box you had to type the given code into, is a small box that says "remember me". Tick that box.MustangMedic wrote:Fellas,

OK, maybe I've had a long day at work, but for the life of me I can't see the box to tick it.
Cheers.

Been a long day for me as well. Just logged out & then back in. No box to tick. Maybe it is AFF that has the box when I log in.....MustangMedic wrote:OK, maybe I've had a long day at work, but for the life of me I can't see the box to tick it.
Do you use Mozilla Firefox? If not use it, as it remembers automatically. Internet Explorer is crap.

Re: General Ramble
You know kerry,
I had a think about this, and I can recall there was a box to tick???, have we lost it for some reason or does internet Explorer not remember it.
I have always used IE and not had this problem before.

Re: General Ramble
Shouldn't need to use remember me.
If you are logging in and then you're being asked to log in again when you hit the forums, I'd say that something on your PC is stopping cookies from working properly.
If you have something like Norton or Mcafee, it could be blocking it. You might need to add the website to a trusted list or something.

One that works now, and sends and receives emails. Still waiting to recover my stuff of my old hard drive. Send me an email and I can log you into my contacts again, otherwise I'm flying blind at the moment.
Cheers.
