Shes all bolted back together (exterior) and the engine is in.
Fired it up with the old man saturday arvo, some small adjustments and was purring like a kitten..
Reversed it out of the shed Sunday (brakes and trans all working - unbeleivable) without seats and gave the old girl a little clean. Doesnt look too bad..
Interior due back this week, I think it will be the hilight
Will try and get some pics up once all back together
Well done, you must be happy. That's a nice Falcon
How is the 69 going?
69 is there.still organising rego/club rego for vic..couple of things for roadworthy - licence plate light, maybe height/noise depending on who does it..
Definitely want to get it on the road asap - time/money being the determining factors as you may know
If/when I sell the XP then a lot of that will go straight to the stang account
OK, have to bite the bullet and get the XP out there on the for sale market. If anyone knows anyone interested...
will get some more pics soon, the interior is all reupholstered (red and off white - looks shmick), doesnt need a huge amount of work - few little things - windlace and full seal kit being the main items..
This way I can afford to keep the stang + some additions - open to offers
as you wish, the LHS door stims have since been fitted, this is not a show car. with a little work it could be a good driver, but will need some work at some point - sills and front floors (maybe lower RHS rear qtr - just the corner), otherwise a nice straight car
complete, asking less than most/all of the cars on carsales
thanks all. trim came up quite nicely..got lucky with both the red to carpet match and white to exterior match. a part of me (quite a big part) wants to keep it. In the next 5 years I can see XP's really starting to push some decent $'s
