window adjustment

Post by Cruzn65 »

I think I have read before what a b@st@rd of job it is to adjust window height.....

The passenger window doesnt quite meet the rubber seal on the convertible top when wound up. Not quite enogh room to get the end of your little finger into but enough to let water and wind in when you dont want it.

Can anyone suggest the best technique for adjusting it?..... without the frustration :argh:
cheers :drink:

Im unsure of a non-frustrating way to adjust glass..very difficult and at times a bit of luck may even be needed

make sure if youre glass has been removed and re-glued, that its been done in the right spot!!panel beater re-glued my front bracket, I spent several hours trying to get the glass to fit, in the end realised glass wasnt glued in correct spot..shitty job!!

Is it the window stop or the roof? I wonder.

Im sure its the window because the roof appears to be horizontally level and so does the window, its fully wound up but doesnt meet the roof rubber. Yes Ozbuilt its the convertible.....I only have one Mustang :argh:

Cheers Chadd, was surprised it took so long for a splinter site to crank up..
Like looking at all the cars for sale as the guys locate them..
Helps with research for #2 in 2012 :)
