Geez, you done a fair bit mate
I hear there is a fair bit of "massaging" to be done as far as after market panels are concerned. Know any old panel beaters??
(PRAYER) Oh thank you Wild Turkey American Honey & Cola in those small thin bottles, for giving me the strength to act like a half wit, and say stupid things at inappropriate times, semi-anonymously, on a public forum.
Amen.

Very cool!

Tell us a bit more about her - any interesting finds in the car whilst you were stripping it?

Also - and its a long way off - but final colours? And plans for the engine?

Looks like you have it pretty well covered. With your gaps, you won't get them much good just via adjustment. You need a big hammer, an oxy or similar method of shrinking & filler. Don't be afraid to smack it around.

thanks all, im pretty satisfied with where its at, at the moment. Thanks for all the advice too. it will help out a lot, really appreciate it.

Cameron, im thinking candy apple red for the colour. i like red for some reason, i just cant go past it hahahaha. For the engine im thinking of buying a new carb and a new crankshaft, some new rods and barings and a gasket kit. The engine is actually in pretty great condition. but id still like to put some new stuff in it. i found heaps of old coins under the carpet too hahhaahah but no surprises really, not that ive seen yet anyway :)
