I hear there is a fair bit of "massaging" to be done as far as after market panels are concerned. Know any old panel beaters??

Looks like you have it pretty well covered. With your gaps, you won't get them much good just via adjustment. You need a big hammer, an oxy or similar method of shrinking & filler. Don't be afraid to smack it around.

thanks all, im pretty satisfied with where its at, at the moment. Thanks for all the advice too. it will help out a lot, really appreciate it.

Cameron, im thinking candy apple red for the colour. i like red for some reason, i just cant go past it hahahaha. For the engine im thinking of buying a new carb and a new crankshaft, some new rods and barings and a gasket kit. The engine is actually in pretty great condition. but id still like to put some new stuff in it. i found heaps of old coins under the carpet too hahhaahah but no surprises really, not that ive seen yet anyway
