:lol: it ran through my mind aswell. I was thinking it would also be a possible RHD conversion on my Caddy.

I have a HQ chassis with steering my convertible is sitting on if you want some pics and measurements.

If they were similar, it would be worth building a fixture that would allow the Camaro/Firebird front clip to be cut & the Holden section fitted in.

What model did the radial tuned suspension come into play?

As you can see she's a bit bent :lol:
took a few pics in restricted space but loaded them on photobucket, let me know if you need any more pics or measurements.

rear of suspension at inner rails= 720mm outer of rails=860mm
front of suspension at inner rails= 710mm outer of rails=870mm
Approx measurement to outside hubs wheel mounting surface= 1560mm
inner disc to disc surface which is also inner hub to stubs=1400mm

HQ steer from the front of the X member not the back same a an LH torana but not with a rack. You use HQ set up on Rods. Think Chevelles are similar to HQ.

Benefit of front steer over rear steer is turning circle. We are considering HZ or later front end. I think it already has a HZ power box & maybe HZ stubs.

I will know more when I pull it down, but that will be after the 4 cars, I have going at the moment, are gone.

HQ'-WB can be grafted onto alot of different vehicle chassis have seen them under 55-57 chevs, 53-56 f100's, corvete's trans am's
