Got it for around $900 assembled at a diff shop he seemed a bit sceptical as to whether it would handle the power but spoke to the guys at diff lapping and they reckon no worries as long as im not drag racing it

what suspension do have in mind? coil overs ? or are you staying with the original set up

going to use the original setup with upgraded springs,swaybars, shocks and bushes pretty much the same setup as blu302, nothing radical but handles quite nicely

Got a few new goodies for the engine, got a msd distributor with a msd 6al digital and hvc coil.



also got a chrome power steering pump cheaper than i can get for a standard one from repco
Cleaned up the motor a little







now just waiting to decide on what brakes to run (and save up) and rebuild the c4

Finally decided to spend some more money on the mustang and have just purchased baer t4 front disc brakes and baer s4 rears with handbrake. Need to turn the body into a rolling shell for paint in three months so decided she needed some bling. I now will have to step up to 17 inch rims to fit the brakes and am in the process of looking at options, am looking at Eleanor style rims as the car is silver and they would look good. Will post pics soon.

Very similar to what a client used on his XR ute in silver blue met.

I like those wheels goldscode, I get the front brakes next week so gonna wait till I put them on to see what fits. The rear brakes are massive so I expect the fronts will have clearance issues with some 17inch wheels. I was thinking of going with a 16inch rear wheel and 17inch front for something different but am still in the thought stage.

Here is some pics of the rear brake kit that I have half installed. It's the bear s4 rear caliper kit and has an internal handbrake included, was a very easy install and the finish of the kit is awesome.





only problem with the install was that the wheel studs were too big for the holes in the rotor, but a die grinder made that an easy fix. Should get the fronts next week so will post some more pics soon.
