I have a clear lens in my tail lights for my mustang project. What is the best way to get a red and yellow tint on the clear lenses?
Do I use the VHT night shades? Or is there a simpler / cheaper option?
I want to do a red and yellow section and then maybe a very light smoked over the top - keeping in respect that it has to be legal and registerable.
Thanks

Can you just use coloured bulbs or LEDS and leave then clear?

You can get red and orange clear paint from hobby shops.

Shaunp - the LED's are coloured - but I am not a fan of the white / clear look when they are not illuminated. I also wanted to make the car a "moden" interpretation.Shaunp wrote:Can you just use coloured bulbs or LEDS and leave then clear?

I will explore this option - it looks the right way to go.

I can vouch for the model/hobby lens paints. Exactly the same as what is sold through auto parts stores (Apart from packaging) and cheaper.
