Then you drill a hole in the lower part of the fender & that gives you 2 bolts holding the rear lower part of the fender. Also holds it in line with the rocker.
I read that and I was actually amazed, I understood it all !
2 years ago I wouldn't have had a clue what it was about.
I sooo need to do another car
Enjoying the thread Shayne.
Keep the updates coming.
I have another grand to spend on the mustang...
Hmm what to buy, what to buy.
I'm thinking maybe American autowire harness and export brace, rocker cover & air cleaner pack? Or borgeson steering box kit. Master cylinder and brake lines maybe also have to come soon aswell
If you are playing with the front fenders & want wheel clearance (especially if doing the suspension mods in the Tech Section) then it would be a good idea if you reshaped the fender as this one is marked .......
Another good idea for strength is to "roll & wire" the edges. Simple process & gives great edge strength along with an edge that will not cut a tyre. I use 3mm soft fencing wire.

Is that to give the wheel a more central look whilst maintaining plenty of caster?
No, to stop the tyre catching the front of the arch. Especially when running wide tyres.
I started doing the fender arch change (without the wired edge) back in the late 60's on the production racing Falcons. All those cars were cheaters back in the day & we did the mod so it would not be apparent to the scrutineers.

Mr CAMS, MR CAMS... we have a cheater here.
Sometimes regulations just get in the way of a good event.
Glad you finnaly addmited your little misdemeanor.
Excellent mod.
