The word "swims" upside-down is still "swims".

Re: Running for President of MOCA NSW
It's the quiet ones you have to watch Sean
There seems to be a bit of feeling in this election and some long term grudges to square up.
As a relative newby to the Mustang scene, I'm taken aback by the politics involved and the background "sureing up of numbers".
I've been involved with clubs before and there is always a level of politics but never like this and I'm nowhere near the committee level.
Makes me wonder as it's not a closed ballot that names will be taken and black booked depending on who you voted for - but if you don't vote then they win also.
We're in it for the cars and friendship not the circus around it.
To vote or not to vote - that is the question

Re: Running for President of MOCA NSW
Vote.
In any election your greatest right is to have your say, club or anywhere else.
From my point there is not a 'square up' as you word it. Purely the desire to create a club that is for the members.
No matter what the outcome it will be at worst a great club.
The strangest thing is that the Committee numbers have been increased, meaning if either Sean or I or both of us were successful in out bid for roles the current committee would remain.
Which probably means any 'improvements that go before them will be defeated.
Let's see but reading the Voting form and seeking counsel of the wise it seems to be the case.
A reason why all the car clubs I have been in before have the Members Vote on alterations or improvements and note a committee.
As for the level of politics, not as it seems, both Sean and I were out of the country for the short time that was allocated to put our bio's to the Members in this months magazine.
Having missed that deadline to have the member population see who we are, we went to the forum. Since Sean and Ron have asked the club to e-mail out their Bio's. However that is not permissible.
Cheers Lance
Please vote though, there will be no black book..........
