I think the engine may give it away that it is not "stock". The body # may be another clue. As he is in a private car "club" it does not really matter ........

true. Which is why I won't be joining a club anytime soon. makes me laugh how many 30 year olds can claim a 40 year old car is not correct when they weren't even a gleam in their old mans eye when the thing was new.
